“I am a Huntsville native and am very excited to help provide a modern and academic option for weight loss to my hometown. I was born and raised in Huntsville and went to Grissom high school. I received my undergraduate degree from Auburn University, my medical degree from UAB, and then completed my general surgery residency at ETSU.
I further specialized with a fellowship in minimally invasive and bariatric surgery from The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Obesity is a portion of medicine that is often overlooked and undertreated and it is my hope to change that within our community. I passionately provide education and care to all my patients and enjoy partnering with them to see their lives change during their weight loss journey. I love north Alabama and was thrilled to join General Surgery Associates and then build and create Huntsville Weight Loss to bring my expertise and passion to my hometown.”
